They are charging a specific amount for shipping the goods. In this post i would like to share a trick with which you can get the product without any shipping charges. 

HOW TO GET FREE SHIPPING ON ALL PRODUCTS:

1) Go to flipkart website or download the flipkart app

2) Login / sign up for a flipkart account.

3) Just search for the desired products and add it to the cart. 

4) Now do select any item which does not has shipping charges. (select the product such that the total order value is more than 500rs)

5) Now add both items to your cart (your main product and the one without delivery charges) 

6) Proceed to Payment and you will find the free shipping will be applied automatically on first product (As per flipkart policies items above 500 rs are eligible for flipkart free delivery)

7) Select the payment method as cash on delivery and then confirm the order.

8) Once both order are confirmed and the orders are shipped cancel the unwanted order. 

Even though you cancel the second product your 1st product gets delivered for free
